On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Bengkulu, successfully hosted an International Guest Lecture titled “AI and Data: Skills that Matter – How to Use AI and Data Tools for Personal and Professional Growth.” The session, held virtually via Zoom, featured Namiratul Ariikhiyyah, SM., MMH, a Cornell University alumna with a postgraduate background in Hospitality Management. She provided an insightful discussion on the critical role of artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics in shaping career and personal development.

The lecture, which started at 11:00 AM WIB, was attended by undergraduate students from the Department of Management, FEB Unib. Namiratul Ariikhiyyah, often referred to as Nami, elaborated on the growing significance of AI literacy, emphasizing how professionals can utilize AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and innovation. The session also covered practical applications of data analytics, highlighting its importance in modern business strategies and decision-making processes.

Throughout the session, Nami encouraged students to explore real-world applications of AI, including automation, predictive analysis, and AI-driven customer insights.
