A lecturer from Singaperbangsa Karawang University (UNSIKA), Rediawan Miharja, SE., MSM., participated in a lecture mobility program in the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Bengkulu, from November 6-9, 2024. During his visit, Rediawan actively participated in various academic activities, including discussions on Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based Semester Learning Plans (RPS) for the Operations Management course. This program is expected to enhance the quality of learning through a more structured approach aligned with industry needs.
In addition to the RPS discussions, Rediawan also had the opportunity to teach in a regular fifth-semester Operations Management class. Students were highly enthusiastic about the material presented, which not only covered theoretical concepts but was also enriched with games and relevant real-life case studies. Between teaching activities, Rediawan engaged in brainstorming sessions with Dr. Febzi Fiona, SE., MM., the course instructor for Operations Management, discussing effective learning models for Generation Z. This discussion explored innovative ways to boost student engagement and understanding through the use of technology and interactive methods.
To conclude the visit, both parties agreed to strengthen collaboration by signing a Cooperation Agreement between the Department of Management at FEB UNSIKA and the Department of Management at FEB University of Bengkulu. Additionally, an Implementation of Arrangement (IA) was signed to ensure the successful implementation of various collaborative programs in academics, research, and curriculum development. This agreement marks a strategic step for both institutions in enhancing synergy and educational quality in the field of management.
